Keep Water Out Of Your Playhouse With Eternabond

You’ve bought a great playhouse for your kids to use in your backyard, but every time it rains the toys and chairs inside the house get wet.  In order to keep rain from leaking down into your playhouse take some Eternabond and place it over the seam of the roof that is leaking.  Here is what I did to keep my daughter’s playhouse water tight.

  1. Gather your materials: 6″ Eternabond (4″ will also work), scissors, EternaPrime (optional), roller (optional)
  2. (Optional) Spray EternaPrime over the area which you are going to lay the Eternabond.  Let it flash off for 1 – 2 minutes.
  3. Stick your Eternabond over the seam that is letting water into the playhouse
  4. Apply pressure to the Eternabond.  If you have a roller, use it.  If you don’t, just use your hands and press hard.  The more and harder your press the better and longer Eternabond will stick.  Pressure is what activates the Eternabond tape.

Now you should have a water tight playhouse.  If water is leaking in any joints that are at 90 degree angles, you can fill the with Double Stick Eternabond.
